Welcome to the American Christian Lobbyists Association (The ACLA). If writing letters, making phone calls or personally meeting your states elected officials in the U.S. Congress isn't something you are comfortable with consider retaining our firm's professional lobbying services. The ACLA can help you plan and present a specific letter writing, phone calling or direct meeting lobbying campaign on Abortion-End Of ­Life, Christian Free Speech and/or Marriage bills or resolutions that are currently pending before the 112th U.S. Congress.

The ACLA was founded in June of 2004 to encourage politically active conservative Christian families, individuals, businesses, churches and organizations to participate in the legislative process and to help them make their vote count between now and the U.S. Presidential Election on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.

Heartbeat Informed Consent Act
Support (H.R.3130). Why? Because this bill would ensure that women seeking an abortion receive an ultrasound and an opportunity to review the ultrasound before giving informed consent to receive an abortion. In addition, the Congress confirms the following information in this bill as follows: (1) The presence of a heartbeat in a woman's unborn child will be a material consideration to many women contemplating abortion. (2) The presence of a heartbeat in a woman's unborn child is a developmental fact that illustrates to the woman that her baby is already alive. (3) On about the 21st or 22nd day after fertilization the heart of an unborn child begins to beat.

Parental Rights Amendment
Support (H.J.Res.3). Why? This amendment to the Constitution of the United States would guarantee the liberty of parents to direct the upbringing and education of their children is a fundamental right and state that neither the United States nor any state shall infringe upon this right without demonstrating that its governmental interest as applied to the person is of the highest order and not otherwise served. In addition this amendment would declare that no treaty may be adopted nor shall any source of international law be employed to supersede, modify, interpret, or apply to the rights guaranteed by this amendment.
Friends Of The ACLA
The Friends of the ACLA is a donation program designated accept monthly or annual payments in any dollar amount from conservative Christian families, individuals, businesses, organizations and church congregations who desire to support the political lobbying work of the American Christian Lobbyists Association.
We The People Act
Support (H.R.958). Why? Because this bill would forbid all federal courts from hearing cases on abortion, same-sex unions, sexual practices, and establishment of religion, unless such a case were a challenge to the Constitutionality of federal law. Makes federal court decisions on those subjects nonbinding as precedent in state courts, and forbids federal courts from spending money to enforce their judgments.

Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act
Support (H.R.2299, S.1241). Why? Because these bills would amend the federal criminal code to prohibit transporting a minor child across a state line to obtain an abortion (deems such transporting to be a de facto abridgment of the right of a parent under any law in the minor’s state of residence that requires parental involvement in the minor’s abortion decision).

Support (H.R.546) Why? Because this bill would designate the Honor and Remember Flag, created by Honor and Remember, Inc., as the official symbol of our country's concern and commitment to honoring and remembering all members of the Armed Forces who lost their lives in the line of duty. This bill will also provide the days of the year, and memorials and other locations, on or at which the Flag shall be displayed
Lobbyist Darrin Mitchell
ACLA President & Conservative Church Lobbyist Darrin Mitchell is available to represent conservative Christian families, individuals, businesses, churches and organizations who would like to retain their own lobbyist to directly lobby their conservative Christian political opinions to their states elected officials in the U.S. Congress to counter organizations like the American Civil Liberties Union (The ACLU) who primarily support secular political issues that most conservative Christians oppose.
Uniting American Families Act
Oppose (H.R.1537, H.R.1796, S.821). Why? Because the wording of these bills would permit permanent partners of United States citizens 18 years and older and lawful permanent residents from other countries to obtain lawful permanent resident status in the same manner as married spouses of citizens.

To help politically active conservative Christians lobby from home, the American Christian Lobbyists Association (The ACLA) has outlined how you can stand up for your First Amendment rights by "Petitioning the Government for a redress of grievances" by following the 8 Important Steps From Voting To Directly Lobbying Your Elected Officials In The 112th U.S. Congress.

Protect Life Act
Support (H.R.358). Why? Because this bill would amend the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) to prohibit federal funds from being to used to cover any part of the costs of any health plan that includes coverage of abortion services. (Currently, federal funds cannot be used for abortion services and plans receiving federal funds must keep federal funds segregated from any funds for abortion services.)

Read and Review the most current Abortion-End Of Life, Christian Free Speech, and Marriage bills and resolutions that are currently pending before the U.S. House of Representatives and/or U.S. Senate.

Church Plan Clarification Act of 2011
Support (S.143) Why? Because this pending bill would amend the Internal Revenue Code pension plan provisions to apply a special rule for determining the status of an employer participating in a church plan as a member of a controlled group of entities; and allow certain tax-free transfers to and mergers of church plans that are maintained by the same church or association of churches.
Respect for Marriage Act
Oppose (H.R.1116 & S.598). Why? Because these bills would amend the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) to repeal a provision that prohibited a state, territory, possession, or Indian tribe from being required to recognize any public act, record, or judicial proceeding of any other state, territory, possession, or tribe respecting a same sex marriage.
