Of all the ACLA online resources available, the one I’ve used the most as a political witness for Christ here at the University of Minnesota is your voter registration link on your Make Your Vote Count page. I am amazed at the number of freshmen and sophomores who are not registered to vote. The ACLA gives me the opportunity to first bridge this issue, print the forms needed and provide the direction needed. In many cases, it has opened the doors for me to introduce the ACLA using my laptop and review the issues about abortion, DOMA and free speech. I have visited the ACLU’s website and it is beyond me how they think that burning or desecrating our nations flag is a right guaranteed by the First Amendment. I wish to thank the ACLA for your steadfast opposition to the Plan-B Pill and the Compassionate Assistance for Rape Emergencies Act. I appreciate how you demonstrate how this pending bill before the U.S Congress is being promoted by politicians in the U.S. House of Representatives as "safe" emergency contraception, when in truth this pill will end up causing thousands of in-home or in-hospital abortions to newly conceived American citizens if taken within 72 hours of sexual intercourse.
